San Diego has plenty of food trucks. What we bring is a bit different: the team that won Food Network's Great Food Truck Race twice, in Season 2 in 2011 and the All-Stars season in 2021. Yahoo Travel named us one of the Top 5 Food Trucks in America from 2013 to 2016.

We're also honest that San Diego is newer for us. The Lime Truck was founded in Irvine in 2010, and OC is our origin. Today we operate from a real San Diego location at 4637 Market St (92102), with a local line at (619) 373-1870. Our San Diego Google profile is at 4.9 stars from 22 reviews. It's an early sample, but it's real.

Corporate catering food truck in San Diego

Downtown corporate is one of the bookings we like most. If you need a corporate catering food truck in San Diego, here's what that looks like with us.

Office lunches. A short, fast service window built around your lunch hour. Your team orders at the window and gets food cooked on the spot. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options come standard, so you don't need a separate tray for the folks with dietary needs.

All-hands, launches, and client events. A truck in the lot gets people out of their chairs and talking. It also makes your company look good in front of clients.

Holiday parties. This is the busy season. Company holiday parties in December are filling up now. If you have a date, send it early. We book first come, first served, and the first deposit on a date holds it.

Team activations. Need something bigger? We can scale up to 500+ guests, with a second service line for large groups.

What we need from your building

Office parking, loading-zone windows, and rooftop access are all workable with notice. Before the day, it helps to send:

1. The full address, plus the lot, garage, or loading area you have in mind
2. Your facilities or building management contact
3. Headcount and the service window
4. Rough dietary numbers
5. Any insurance paperwork the property requires

The truck needs a flat, level area about 30 feet by 12 feet, with roughly 14 feet of overhead clearance. We'll need an outlet or room for a quiet generator.

How far ahead to book corporate events

Weekday office lunches and smaller gatherings usually need a few weeks. Large corporate events do best with two to three months. Last-minute requests are worth a call, and we'll tell you straight whether we can make it work.

Coastal and bayside weddings in La Jolla, Coronado, and Mission Bay. We coordinate truck access, generator power, setup, service, and cleanup with your venue or coordinator.

Brewery and rooftop events. A natural fit for tacos.

Backyard and private parties. From a 30-person backyard birthday in Point Loma on up.

Graduations and outdoor events. Mission Bay, Balboa Park, and parks around the county.

Our Market St location keeps us central to downtown, Balboa Park, the coast, and South Bay.

Downtown. Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, East Village. Offices, rooftops, and launches.

The coast. La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Bay, Coronado, Point Loma. Weddings and outdoor gatherings.

The menu

California-Mexican food, cooked to order on the truck. A few picks: the Seared Ahi Taco with wild-caught tuna, the Rojo Chicken Taco, the Sweet and Spicy Steak Taco, the Trippy Mushroom Taco for plant-based guests, Mexican Street Corn, Legendary Brussel Sprouts, and churros. For morning meetings, we also have a breakfast menu with breakfast tacos and the Epic Breakfast Burrito.
