In LA specifically, our Google profile is at 5.0 stars from 14 reviews. We've catered for Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, MTV, UCLA, the LA Clippers, and Dolby Theatre, so studio security check-ins and lot access rules aren't new to us.

The honest LA story

We'll be straight with you: The Lime Truck was founded in Irvine in 2010, so Orange County is our origin. LA is where the work scales up. We've operated here for years, and our Glendale location at 1936 W Glenoaks Blvd anchors everything we do in the city.

Glendale puts us minutes from Burbank, the Hollywood studios, Pasadena, and Downtown, and within about an hour of nearly any venue in LA County.

LA neighborhoods and venues we know

LA is the trickiest market in California for truck access, and we know it. Here's how we think about the city:

Studios and the Valley. Burbank, Studio City, Glendale, and the Valley. Studio lots have stricter protocols, with security check-ins and set break schedules. We're used to them.

Hollywood and the Eastside. Hollywood, West Hollywood, Silver Lake, and Echo Park. Expect tight streets, rooftop venues, and hillside driveways. We'll ask about street access and parking before we commit to a spot.

Downtown and the Arts District. Lofts, rooftops, and office towers. Load-in windows and loading-zone rules matter here, so we flag them up front.

The Westside. Century City, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, and Brentwood. Lots of office lunches and hotel events, with motor courts that need clearance checks.

Malibu. Cliffside and estate weddings. Long driveways and limited power are common, so we plan for generators and placement ahead of time.

Pasadena, El Segundo, and Long Beach. Corporate campuses, backyard parties, and waterfront events.

The LA menu

California-Mexican, cooked to order on the truck. A few picks from the menu: the Sweet and Spicy Steak Taco, Rojo Chicken Taco, Seared Ahi Taco, Trippy Mushroom Taco, the SoCal Quesadilla, Legendary Brussel Sprouts, Mexican Street Corn, and our churros. How far ahead to book in LA

For weddings, big corporate events, and Saturday production wraps, two to three months is a safe lead time. Peak LA wedding season runs May through October and books fastest. Weekday office lunches and last-minute production needs can often be slotted in with a few weeks' notice, sometimes less. It's always worth asking.
